Diesel Rebuild Parts™

Diesel Rebuild Parts™ is a division of Syd's Eastside Auto Parts™, an authorized parts dealer and distributor for aftermarket industrial engine parts manufacturers IPD and Interstate-McBee.

Diesel Rebuild Parts™ offers new aftermarket parts which are quality manufactured for heavy duty industrial diesel engines and natural gas motors. IPD™ aftermarket parts are engineered for better performance without risk to reliability. Interstate-McBee aftermarket engine and fuel injector replacement parts offer affordability and are built to meet or exceed the original equipment manufacturer's specifications for new engine part requirements. Both aftermarket parts manufacturers offer full warranties.

Syd's Eastside Auto Salvage, Inc. is a well respected and recognized auto salvage yard. It is also an automotive aftermarket parts shop offering quality new aftermarket parts under the Syd's Eastside Auto Parts™ brand. As required by law for a salvage yard, Syd's Eastside Auto is also a licensed used auto and truck dealer.

Syd's Eastside Auto Parts™ has developed the Diesel Rebuild Parts™ website in an effort to expand our retail line of aftermarket parts. This allows Diesel Rebuild Parts™ to act as a separate brand to accomodate our IPD™ and Interstate-McBee lines of aftermarket rebuild parts for diesel and natural gas engines found in heavy duty equipment, industrial machinery, commercial marine, specialized vehicles and highway truck applications. This also allows Syd's Eastside Auto Parts™ to continue to target passenger auto, truck and automotive parts customers while allowing Diesel Rebuild Parts™ to focus on the industrial and heavy equipment machinery end of aftermarket engine replacement parts market.

The Diesel Rebuild Parts™ website was started in June of 2007 as an attempt to reach our target customer base looking for quality premium aftermarket engine components from IPD™ for the CAT® (Caterpillar®) brand line of motors. The following month (July of 2007), Syd's Eastside secured authorization to also become a dealer and distributor for Interstate-McBee, LLC.

IPD™ currently focuses on performance engineering and quality control manufacturing premium engine rebuild parts, overhaul kits and gasket sets for the CAT® (Caterpillar®) brand line of heavy duty commercial equipment and machinery engines. IPD™ intentions are to improve the parts that they engineer and manufacture without introducing risk to the part reliability.

Interstate-McBee started out in the fuel injection business and has expanded to offer engine parts and rebuild kits for Detroit Diesel®, Cummins®, Caterpillar®, Navistar® and Komatsu®. Additionally, Interstate-McBee makes parts for SIMMS/CAV® pumps, Robert Bosch® fuel systems, AMBAC® fuel injection equipment, and Stanadyne® diesel systems. Interstate-McBee also carries a few more components (such as fuel injectors and water or fuel pump rebuild kits) for some of the CAT® engine overhaul components that IPD™ does not offer. Interstate-McBee maintains high quality control over the parts it manufactures.

Please note that neither Diesel Rebuild Parts™ or Syd's Eastside Auto Parts™ is affiliated with any of the manufacturers listed above. IPD™ is also not affiliated with Caterpillar, Inc., IPD™ merely engineers and manufactures quality aftermarket parts for CAT® engines. Interstate-McBee should also be considered as another quality aftermarket parts manufacturer, even though Interstate-McBee actually does provide some OEM parts for a couple of manufacturers requiring innovative fuel injection engineering. All parts sold from the Diesel Rebuild Parts™ website, or directly through Syd's Eastside Auto Parts™ are aftermarket parts and are not considered OEM parts, and we stand behind these high quality aftermarket parts with the respective aftermarket manufacturer's warranties.

About Syd's Eastside Auto Parts™

Syd's Eastside Auto Salvage, Inc. operates as Syd's Eastside Auto Parts™ and is a sister company to Feimer Construction Company, Inc. Both businesses are located at different locations in Yankton, South Dakota. Syd's Eastside Auto Salvage, Inc. has grown from a used automotive parts salvage yard to become an automotive aftermarket parts shop, as well. Hence, the Syd's Eastside Auto Parts™ brand.

The owners of Feimer Construction Company are also the owners of Syd's Eastside Auto Parts™ and understand the value of better engineered, quality automotive parts. So, when their CAT® Excavator needed new diesel parts, they started looking for the best value in CAT® diesel engine replacement parts available. Upon finding IPD™ aftermarket part solutions for CAT® diesel and natural gas engines, the owners were excited about the opportunity and signed-up Syd's Eastside Auto Parts™ as an authorized dealer and distributor.

Although IPD's line of aftermarket industrial engine parts is more focused on improving performance and reliability in CAT® diesel and natural gas engines, Interstate-McBee offers a wider breadth of service parts not only for CAT® diesel and natural gas engines, but for a wide array of brands, allowing Diesel Rebuild Parts™ to offer a more complete product line in support of more industrial machines and their mechanics.
